School Sports Games

St Mary's has a long legacy with the School Sports Games Mark, first achieving Gold in academic year 2013/14 and continuing to do so for many years. St Mary's has always played an active part in sporting events and has had lots of success over many years by engaging children in physical activity in an inclusive and competitive way.

In 2020/2021, we were awarded with the School Games Mark in recognition of our engagement with the School Sports Games despite COVID 19 restrictions 

This year we have been involved in the following events:

-Cross Country Y5/6

- Kids Cup Football Y3/4

-Football County finals at Blackpool

-Kurling KS1

Dodgeball KS2

-Netball League (2 teams)

-Football League (2 teams)

-Swimming Gala Y5/6
