In English this term, our topic will be all about the Loch Ness Monster! We shall be writing letters that persuade sceptics of the Loch Ness Monster's existence, reading and performing ballads before moving on to writing humorous stories based upon the classic cartoon series 'The Family Ness.'

In maths, the children will be learning all about place value, addition and subtraction, multiplication and division and finally, fractions.

Science

In science, we will be starting the term learning about the properties of materials before moving on to forces.

History

This term, we shall begin with Geography and look at Biomes. We shall then move on to History, when we shall be learning about the Ancient Egyptians.

Art/DT

We shall begin the school year by learning about Salvador Dalí before moving on to making masks fit for a Pharaoh in DT.

PE

In PE, we will have a specialist coach in, teaching us cricket and in the second half term, we shall move on to swimming. We shall also cover netball and gymnastics this term.

This term we are learning about 'The Blues' and shall be performing using the glockenspiels. 

French

In French, we are focusing on our family! 

RE

Our topics for RE this term begin with Covenant and Creation before moving on to Prophecy and Promise.

Computing

In computing, we shall be looking at databases and spreadsheets. Our online safety topics include self-image, online relationships, online bullying and reputation.
