    • School Sports Games

    St Mary's has a long legacy with the School Sports Games Mark, first achieving Gold in academic year 2013/14 and continuing to do so for many years. St Mary's has always played an active part in sporting events and has had lots of success over many years by engaging children in physical activity in an inclusive and competitive way.

     

    In 2024/2025 we were awarded the GOLD School Games Mark... something we are very proud of! 

    This year we have been involved in the following events:

     

    • Cross Country Y5/6

    • Curling KS1

    • Gymnastics KS1

    • Dodgeball KS2

    • Football League 

    • Swimming Gala Y5/6

    • Cricket

    • Bowling

    • Dance

     

    There are many more events to come!

    We have also provided After School Clubs:

     

    • Multi-skills

    • Football

    • Lunchtime clubs lead by Accrington Stanley 

    • Dance with Jo Baldwin

    • Cricket with Raheem
